Recognized in 2005 “Who’s Who in Chicago Business” by Crain’s Chicago Business, Deanna Shoss brings over 25 years communications and intercultural experience in an “Anthropology Meets Marketing” approach to her work in multicultural marketing and intercultural communications.  Shoss has worked with government, not-for-profit and corporate clients to provide branded internal and external communications for web and print, social media strategy, multicultural marketing, festival planning, intercultural skills training, leadership coaching and experiential marketing strategies for cross-cultural communication and community building.

Shoss is a Strategic Partner and Associate of Executive Diversity Services, Inc. (EDS), an organizational development company serving the global marketplace, offering a variety of services, including management consulting, leadership development, coaching, training and team facilitation. All services are directed toward expanding cultural competence within organizations in order to “Tap the Talents of Your Total Team”— employees, vendors, and customers.  

A true renaissance woman when it comes to broad yet deep knowledge in all area of diversity and marketing, Shoss’ experience includes building community programs for diverse neighborhoods in Chicago, designing turnkey marketing initiatives for McDonald’s Owner/Operators across Eastern New England, creating multicultural events and exhibits for 80 million annual travelers at O’Hare International and Midway Airports, working to diversify audiences as President and CEO of the League of Chicago Theatres, planning major festivals such as First Night Evanston and the Hyde Park Jazz Festival as Founder and President of Intercultural Talk, Inc., a multicultural marketing firm, and expanding her work in inclusion into the area of developmental disability as Director of Marketing, Communications and Business Development for Jewish Child & Family Services.
