The day before we last visited her, in April, I ran to the shoe repair, realizing I had no sandals to bring.  It turned out they closed at 4, and it was already noon.  The older, Eastern European shop owner apologized, saying he was sorry he couldn&#039;t get the shoes done in time.  I explained I was going to visit my sick Mother-in-Law.  He said &quot;a wife who loves her mother-in-law is a good thing. Come back at 3 and I&#039;ll have them ready!&quot;</description>
