<description>Dear Daniel--since I am newer at blogging, part of the confusion might be me finding my voice--but I realize the point with this blog is narrowing down to the &quot;language&quot; of diversity, and also personal accountability--which has to do with individual actions and in particular teaching my child to be anti-racist, and also trying to isolate and expunge sub-conscious biases that might influence or get in the way of interactions with people of different cultures and races. For this particular post, I purposely gave the situation first, and then the following week illuminated a little more, by giving the racial frame to it, at http://interculturaltalk.org/2008/05/22/fear-of-appearing-racist-even-in-secret/

Hope this helps clarify.

Thanks for reading.
